COMMENT: So I got the new Sonic comic yesterday, and after reading it, I admit I got pretty choked. I mean, the story was alright, but the fact Eggman apparently 'killed' Espio ticked me off (LINK!), especially since he's my favorite character. So I decided to express my feelings towards it in a little "pic fic".
For those who are confused about the Chaotix' new duds, and the little girl, allow me to explain. Keona is my character, and in my insane little world, Espio and the Chaotix are much older, and hence more mature, for the most part lol (refer to the "Lacross City Wars" images of them in my gallery for further explanation).
Keona is one of Espios students, and he teaches and trains her. Although Keona is a pre-teen, she's mentally stunted, meaning that her mind is half of her physical age. Hence the childlike talking and broken words. But she's a total cutie, and Espio care for her like a father.
Oh, and Vector looks hot in a business suit.

More practice using layered coloring. I definatly prefer the linework then doing it myself in pen. It's just so much smoother this way. Tried a slightly thicker line, which gave mroe room for error in the coloring which was noce, but the thin line gave it a more clean look, so I might stick with that. Overall, a good peice.

Mighty~ Lacross City Wars
Okay this needs a bit (read=lot) of explanation. So starting at the top, it's Mighty the Armadillo. But not as you know him. This is Mighty from My/Space's role play world.
After vanishing from the Chaotix mysteriously years ago, Mighty was thought for dead by Vector and Charmy, but only Espio knew the truth- Mighty went on a mission to Lacross
City, and failed. Espio blamed himself for not going with Mighty on the mission, but in his guilt, never told the rest of the team, and they thought him dead. As the years passed
Espio assumed Mighty had to have been dead, and let the past be buried. However, years later during the start of the Lacross Wars, Mighty reappeared as the leader of the Resistance
against the humans. When the Lacross War ended, Mighty and the last remaining members of his group were finally freed from the City's hell. However he has refused to return to the Chaotix,
and instead travels the world, looking for more wars to fight to free the innocent.
Mighty, as pictured here, has grown considerably over time. No longer a happy go lucky member of the Chaotix, Mighty has now become a hardened and strong leader. Shedding the gloves and boots of old,
he now only wears wraps around his arms, legs and waist.
Not for decoration, but for protection, and medical bandages if needed. He's trained to become as strong as possible without magic, and can rival some adult dragons in pure brute force. He's covered in
old and new scars from years of battle, many times going without medical aide. His hide has become thick and tough as dragons scales. Mighty is a warrior, and now in peace time, is unsure how to handle it,
so he heads to other realms to fight there. Wether or not he'll return, is anyones guess.

Next in the series, this is Charmy Bee, as he is in my/Space's RP world.
As the youngest member of the group, Charmy was rather young when Mighty vanished. Charmy never knew much about
Mighty other then a few memories and whatever Vector and Espio told him. However, sencing the sence of loss in the group,
Charmy took it upon himself to be the moral of the Team. Always the optimist, Charmy was the one to get everyone up and going
when things go tough. Over the years Charmy became more and more of the PR person for the team, being the one to find new jobs and such for them.
Charmy has grown into a very outgoing and popular young man, often getting on Espios nerves for his unwaivering enthusiasm. Charmy often acts
like nothing can phase him, or get under his skin. Little does many know the secrets he holds inside.....
Long gone are the sky helmet and thick vest. Charmy now wears a sleek trendy vest and baggy shorts, with slim running shoes.
Also, he now wears a light baseball cap, worn backwards to allow his antenna to stick through. The symbol that was once worn on his vest,
is now tattooed on his shoulder. And finally, the bulky white gloves of old are now replaced with slim red fingerless gloves.

COMMENT: Espio~ Lacross City Wars
Okay this needs a bit (read=lot) of explanation. So starting at the top, it's Espio the Chameleon. But not as you know him. This is Espio from My/Space's role play world.
Back in the day, Espio tried to fight for lead of the Chaotix on more then one occasion. However, one day Mighty up and left on a mission to Lacross City. Espio tried to go with him,
tried to help, but Mighty refused, saying it was his own mission. Unfortunatly, Mighty failed the mission and vanished. After Mighty's dissappearance, Epsio became guilt ridden, and more then
ever, sank back into the shadows of the team, allowing Vector to remain as leader. However, Espio never left Team Chaotix, and instead, helped them to begin to lead a quieter life, doing more detective
duties and less renegade work. Espio was the one that secured them their own complex in Station Square, though, while not large, is enough for the team to carry out its tasks and be left alone. Espio became
a very quiet member of the group, staying in the shadows, not doing much at all, until one day a little girl came into his life. That girl was Keona. She had saw him on TV and began to idolize him, wanting to
be just like him. At first he tried his best to push her away, but her innocence and admiration soon began to break down the barriers in his heart, and helped him to open up more, back to how he used to be in the
old days. Keona, and soon after her brother Gri, began to take lessons from Espio in the art of the Ninja. Overtime, young Keona moved onto other things (as most little kids do), but Gri remained, eager to learn.
Over time he has helped Espio become more outgoing, and recently the Chaotix has gotten back into the renegade style of their detective work. Espio is now Gri's personal tutor, teaching him everything he knows.
Espio still sees Keona, caring and protecting her like a daughter.
Espio now wears a sports suit with the Chaotix logo on the chest. He doens't care for the suit really, but at the request of Spacemania and Tilas, he wears it around Keona. (they're despretly trying to teach her
NOT to run around nakey- it doesn't always work)
He'll never admit it, but he's thankful to the children for helping him live again, and cherishes the time he spends with them.

Another redesign to fit my role play timeline. He hasn't made an appearance yet, but he will. Nacks past up to now is somewhat a mystery. Only two things are known about him. One, he goes by "Nack". Call him
"Fang" an you get shot. Why is none of your damned business. And two, he has business ties with Invader Yula, which is not surprising as she is one of the top weapons dealers on the planet.
As for the ring? That's another question that'll get you shot.

Scratch and Grounder were just so much coolr. I mean, they were idiots sure, but they were EVIL idiots. Not brainless nitwits like Decoe and Bocoe. Scratch and Grounder came up with dastardly plans to crush Sonic. Dumb and Dumber just act like that, DUMB AND DUMBER. No skills, no evilness, nothing. I always got a kick outa Scratch and Grounder, both in AoStH, and the Sonic Comics. Shame you never see them around anymore. As for the "Baddest badniks". well, common, you always knew Scratch talked weird.
Which brings me to this pic, the true badniks for Robotnik about to rip apart those pathetic excuses for tin cans. GET EM BOYS!
