COMMENT: This is my 2nd G1 to G3 pony. I decided to do Applejack just cause I could. She was originally a Sunny Daze, so I dyed her, then rehaired her with Golden Delicious from Dollyhair, and repainted her eyes and symbol. They're all shiny cause the glaze is still wet lol. She'd actually a LOT brighter orange then the camera shows, it's just really dark in here. ^_^;

With that said, here's my newest pony. This WAS going to be for the candy swap but... it didn't QUITE turn out how I expected, so I'm keeping it for myself and redoing it. Properly. With like... clay. XD ;; Yes, those are REAL skittles and that's REAL twizzlers for the hair. This took SOOOOOOO many layers of spray glaze, and I have NO idea how well it'll hold up over time...but it was fun. I got bored with the glue gun, okay? ^_^;

Finally got this big guy done! Part of the Crackers family set, this is Crackers himself! He just looks so awesome as a pony. XD He turned out really well except his paint chipped around his mane, and when I tried to repaint it to fix it,t he colors weren't exact, but I tried to hide most of it. I hope it's not overly noticeable. :\ Otherwise he looks great I think. His wings were made from sculpey, one feather at a time, so it took HOURS. His wings are so big, he can't sit on my normal pony shelves with the rest of the collection, so he and his family now sit atop of my closet, overlooking the room.
Look close, can you see his fangs? ;)

This is Cinni, she's part of the Crackers family set where I've been making all of my chao Crackers' family into ponies! Like all of Crackers kids, she's got that lock of red hair, but like her mommy, she has the eyes and the stripes. She's unique because she has dolphin traits, like her little dolphin tail. :)

COMMENT: MLPArena Custom Swap- Real Life Animal Swap for Teasle
I have to say, this is one of my BEST customs, and I almost didn't wanna part with him. ^_^; For the real animal custom swap I made a reindeer for Teasle.
Now I know the antlers are huge, (they almost touched the elements in the oven ) But I think they added character lol. He took a lot of clay to make, as all the feet, the tail, the antlers and chest are clay. I also tried painting realistic, not bad for a first time. XD; I'm so glad he made it in one peice to Teasle!

This took way to long to get finished. This is for Magick for the Sci-Fi swap at the MLPArena. I tried to do Teal'C from Stargate SG-1. I did the symbol on one side and the Stargate on the other. I like the symbol better, but it's on the NDS so I turned the head for the pic lol.

Since autumnskyeangie's partner in my Cartoon Swap went AWOL, I went ahead and made her pony for her. I chose to make Dino from the Flintstones, cause I thought he'd be a nice challenge. It was fun to make him, I love his little claws. I had recently bought some nice gems, rocks and things from a traveling shop, so I used one of the stones for his tag. I'm not really sure WHAT stone it is, but it's really pretty and shiny. :D

COMMENT: Finally finished her, and I really like how she turned out! I was always disappointed how Storybelle never got her own pony, so I decided to make one. I used a styling Pinkie Pie as the based, and hair from Dollyhair. She took 5 skeins, 1 for each color on the head, and 1 for the tail. Storybelle will be a gift for my local library, as she is all about books. :)

COMMENT: MLPArena April Custom Swap- Ocean Themed pony for Nibbles
I wanted to try something really different, so I went for a dolphin pony. It used up all my leftover sculpey, I almost didn't have enough! She was painted with acrylic metallic paints. The gem on the forhead is an earring I found a long time ago, and the symbol is made out of pewter. I had it in my jewerly box so decided to use it. I thought it came out really nice.

At first I tried dying him, but that failed, miserably, so I resorted to a full body repaint. You dun wanna know how long it took to do the symbol,
I redid it like 3 times lol. I love his eyes the best, cause they're just so creepy. He's gotta star on his forehead and his hoof (not shown).
He's also a LOT glossier then the photo, I decided before I shipped him to give him a coat of clear cover, and it made him super glossy.

This smaller version sorta loses some of the detail and the texture in the peice, depends on your screen if you can see it or not. ^_^;
This took far longer then it should have, I was trying a new way to shade and it was WAY too time consuming then it needed to be, my bad lol.
I like the color contrast here though.The earth tones with the shades of pinks & purples worked rather well.

COMMENT: PuzzlePony asked me to do a picture of Starcatcher for her daughter, so she traded a bunch of brushes to me in echange for the pic. So this is a commission/exchange lol.
It was drawn on sketch paper, using a mechanical pencil. It was originally inked with staedtler pigment liners. Then I took it into PSP7 for the re-inking and colors. All in all it took about... 12 hours or so from start to finish. I sorta went crazy on the sparklies, I think it's cute lol.

So I did a doodle in MSPaint, and really liked it, so I finished it in PSP7. I really like how this came out, I think it's really pretty. I think I'll be ready for doing the real peice for the commission/trade. :)

CHARACTERS: Royal Flush
COMMENT: I got a G1 bait flutterpony that was in fairly rough shape, so I carved out her wing base, filled it full of clay, added a horn, did a total repaint and rehair. Originally she was going to be silver but the silver paint was just too thin and lousy. So I went with blue. I had to decide what symbol to do, but her colors kept making me think royalty, hence, I decided to go with a Royal Flush. It was INSANELY hard to paint the lettering on the cards, I slides up a paintbrush until only a couple hairs remained. In the end I really liek how she turned out. The purple is more vivid then it looks, thats just how the flash hit it. Overall, I like her a lot.

COMMENT: I made this little beauty before Christmas, for a very good friend of mine. This is Lady. I based her off photos I borrowed from my friends mother before my friend came home for Christmas holidays. I got her as close as I could to the real horse she used to own when she was younger. She's made from a Breezie pony, and the only part of her that's repainted is her eyes. Her body was dyed. Once with brown, then very slowly and repeatedly with black, to get the gradient shade effect. She was very tricky to dye, because there was no room for mistakes. Her hair is from dollyhair.com. For my first 'realistic' pony, I love how she came out, and I'm glad my friend liked her so much.

Here we have the Space pony, to go next to the Tilas pony. He was made with a Sparkleworks, totally repainted and rehaired. His forhooves were done with sculpey. He was a little fun to do, I learned you can boil Sculpey instead of baking it. I really love how he came out, and he's so CUTE with the Tilas Pony!

This is a Christmas present for one of my dear friends, Tony Caline!!
His favorite character is Ivo so I decided to do the impossible and pony-fie Eggman! Have you EVER seen a pony with a mustache before? This pony was a riot to do, he just looks SO funny in the doodle I couldn't resist!
Eggman was made with a Sparkleworks pony, completely repainted. I used sculpey for the clothes and accessories, painted with acrylic paints. The hair for the mustache is from dollyhair.com. He's got to be one of my favorites now, because he's JUST SO WEIRD!

COMMENT: I just could not decide what to do with a gold pony I was working on, until Space came up with an awesome idea for it. He said it looked Egyptian, so wanted me to make an Egyptian pony. I happened to have an Ankh ring that was broken, so after a bit of cutting and sanding, I was able to use it for this pony! The Ankh is the ring peice, and on the head is half of the ring band. He was originaly a Triple Treat pony (I think- was purple) and his hooves are redon in sculpey. Painted with acrylic paints, rehaired with MLP hair from dollyhair.com! I was going to sell Osiris at the fair, and he was really popular (lotta people wanted him), but Space and I liked him too much, so he's now a gift for Space! :D

COMMENT: I love the way the blue and white go toether, she looks so stunning with her long straight hair. She was sold at the Craft Fair in November. :) I plan on making another Ecco someday. Maybe with a 3D dolphin next time. Painted with acrylic paints, rehaired with MLP hair from dollyhair.com!

COMMENT: I'm pretty happy about this one, I make a pony of my persona, so here she is. She used a lot more pony hair then I anticipated- her mane was an ENTIRE skein of Nylon MLP hair from Dollyhair.com. I think I did it to thick? I dunno, but otherwise it went okay. her tail isn't dipped in black yet because I dind't have the dye, but thats just fine. The head has a slight pink tinge to it, because the paint I used smeared slightly as I was rehairing. Got most of it out though, ah well. She was made form a Golden Delicious, and is just flipped around because I wanted her red half of her face as the display side.

CHARACTERS: Shadow Wraith
COMMENT: 2nd custom for Crackers Chao Garden. This is Shadow, Crackers wife. She's a very motherly creature, sweet and kind. I would up tweaking her design slightly for the pony version, which I liked a lot better. She was rather difficult to make, because the first paintjob I mixed oil and water paints, so it ran and chipped.
Oh well, the 2nd paintjob looks much nicer. She was painted with Acrylic paints, dyed with RIT dye, and her mane/tail are from a halloween wig. The hair didn't quite style how I wanted, but I think it still looks rather nice. I've also learned not to use the glue gun for the tail or plugs, the glue crumbles when wet lol.
So many things to learn when making my first customs eh? Overall I really like her. Can't wait to do more!

CHARACTERS: Pink the Faerie
COMMENT:I've decided to make customs ponies of Crackers' entire family from his garden.
Crackers (father), Shadow (mother), Cinnamon (middle child), Cara (baby), Varick (eldest son) and Pink (wife of Varick) will be the entire set once completed. Pink got finished first cause I had a breezie on hand.
She's originally a faerie, so thats why I chose a Breezie to make her. Her eyes and symbol are hand painted. She hair was re-dyed, straightened and trimmed, and her body was dyed a few shades darker then it originally was. Her symbol is a phoenix feather, because thats her favorite thing. She likes to sneak up on Scortch, (A Son of Pheonix -and Crackers best friend) and pluck a feather from him once and awhile.
She's VERY small, only like... 2"-3" in height. Painting on that scale is HARD. SO glad I didn't have to rehair her. ^.^;

COMMENT: My first *real* custom. Dyed with rit dye, her symbol is hand painted. I chose Skydancer as she was simple to make. Skydancer's hair is real MLP hair, it was actually taken from a Wysteria (which was later made into Shadow Wraith), and was trimmed and straightened.
