CHARACTERS:Raphael
COMMENT: Here is my finished peice of Raphael. I really like how he came out. Dunno why, but for the past few days I've been wanting to do something about Raph, so here he is! The Sai and the letters were the hardest parts, had to use tweezers to get them to sit right. Raph is just under 3 inches tall.

COMMENT: She's finished! I had some problems with her, but in the end she turned out great. The bigges problem was this.
My oven cooked way too hot and she was torched! But I didn't give up, I tried a paint job hoping that would fix her. An hour or so later...
Sucess! While I preferred the blue clay, the paint looks pretty good too. In total she too about oh..... 3 hours to make, not including cooking time. Overall I'm quite happy with her. I was worried she's be top heavy and break like my Rainbow did, but she held up! I can't help but think he nose is just a little low, but thats okay, can't expect perfection. ^.^; She's made of colored Sculpey with wires holding her arms, legs, and head to the body. I still liek her boots the best though. XD
Here's the reference pic I used to make her It's from the RB punch and play doll book.

LastUnicornClay.jpg
CHARACTERS:The Last Unicorn
COMMENT: Was watching The Last Unicorn one night, and got the idea to try and make her, so I did. I'm rather proud of her myself. From hoof to tip of horn, she stands about 10 inches tall,
and is made out of Super Sculpey. She is painted with acrylic and model paints, and her entire body, including the horn (which is a good thing, as horns ALWAYS tend to snap off) has a wire frame.
The body is filled out with aluminum foil, as to not use as much clay. She took layers upon LAYERS of white paint, which was a royal pain. Over all, in the end she's still a favorite peice.

CHARACTERS:Rainbow Brite
COMMENT: Humans are much harder thenthey look, I'll say that rigth now. Nevertheless, Rainbow turned out rather nice. She's made out of colored fimo and sculpey, and is excatly 6 inches tall.
The facial features, and stars are all hand painted.

CHARACTERS:Dark Coolex Allburn
COMMENT: Dark here was pretty hard to make to get the head in the shape I wanted. If I remember correctly, he only had wires in his wings.
However, I'm very sorry to say I never got any good photos of the finished product, and sadly, it was destroyed in shipping. v_v The only photo I had of it
is this photo here, which is a very low quality shot. Though this was a good experience for learnign two lessons. One, always take many photos of my
work, just in case or accidents, and two, package things better with bubble wrap. -.-;

COMMENT: This guy was a trick to make, his wings have cardboard inside them to hold them up. I like how he came out, he's really cute. XD

CHARACTERS: A Signpost
COMMENT: A request I did for a friend for her daughter. :) It was easy to do, but if you wanna know, the secret to keep it standing was a pencil and a pop bottle lid! XD!

CHARACTERS: Purple Land Dragon
COMMENT: This one was tedious, as I made little lines all over the claws and face, which KEPT MOVING! -.-; But in the end it came out quite nice.

penguins.jpg
CHARACTERS: Christmas Penguins
COMMENT: So I got bored last night and decided to start working on items for the Craft Fair. So here's the first 4, the Penguin family. Got no idea what I'm gonna sell them for, I'll worry bout it later. Mom laughed at me saying they didn't look like penguins. I swear some people just don't have an imagination.....
Anyways, they're not cooked yet, cause I need to find wire to make em ornaments. Thats what I like bout Sculpey, it can sit forever without being cooked and still be good. So I just gotta put em somewhere where they won't get squished for now. If your wondering, I got the pattern offa the Sculpey website, and tweaked it a little.
Oh yeah, I like the big penguin with the black Tie the best. :P

kayserfimo.jpg
CHARACTERS: Kayser
COMMENT: The biggest sculpture I've made yet! This is Kayser, my dragon. ^.^ He was HARD to get right. Though he's not using as much clay as he looks, because inside his body is tin foil, which worked really well. The wings had to be seperatly attached, but overall, I really like him. He looks FAR better then the photos give him credit for, I HATE that blasted DigiCam. >.>; He's made with beige super sculpey, and then painted with acrylic paints.

milsclaynightfire.jpg
CHARACTERS: Miles NightFire
COMMENT: Here you go Miles, this was a royal pain cause Playdoh doesn't shape as well as fimo. I also used ALL my dark blue, light blue, red, hot pink, and white on you so you better enjoy it. XD But at least I got it back after. It was fun to make this big guy. And yes he's big, he's sittign on my laptop in the last pic. XD

COMMENT: Because he asked me to. XD I think this one was really cute, but the teeth were hard to get to stay right. XD
|
spacecrkrs.jpg
CHARACTERS: Spacemania, Crackers
COMMENT: Well now these were fun. XD Space sent me a whole bunch of fimo/sculpey, and this is two fo the things I did with it. Crackers was first, the hardest part on him was the claws Space was next, and he was really hard to make. The quills and the legs gave me hell. But overall, I like em. ^.^ Space's tail is huge because he needed the support (though he still leans back a bit XD). His tail broke, but I glued it back on ^.^;

spacekyriifimo.jpg
CHARACTERS: Spacemania the Christmas Kyrii
COMMENT: This is my Neopet Spacemania the Christmas Kyrii. He was pretty fun to make into a sculpture. His body was the hardest to get right, but overall I'm pretty pleased with the lil guy. I think I need to start making skeletons inside my sculptures though, it saves a LOT of sculpey that way XD; Ah well, he's still really cute.
