I love reading entries on IMMD, and submitted my own, and it got voted up. Yay! Oh, and if you have a Cheezburger account, FRIEND ME!

Back in high school we used to use the schools T183 graphing calculators in math. I would always type a joke or funny quote on it before handing it back at the end of class. Whenever I borrowed it again, my teacher had always typed a new joke or funny quote back. It always MMD.

My math teacher Mr.C was awesome. He had an awesome sense of humor. For example, every Easter he’d hide Cadbury Creme eggs in the class, each one labeled with our names. For grades 8-11, he purposely hid my egg in the HIGHEST spot he could find in the room, watching and laughing as I scrambled to reach the damn egg. (One year, he actually had it poking out of the ceiling tile in the center of the room and wouldn’t let me grab a chair… :P ). For Easter in Grade 12, we’re all searching for our eggs, and by now, I’m naturally looking at every high point I can find. Where did he hide the damn egg?
On the floor, behind the door. XD;

Mr C was always awesome. He made high school a little more bearable.

As you can probably tell, I’ve been tinkering with the site. Few more things to change (like the background lol) but it’s getting more and more how I want it. Questions for everyone, do you prefer the links to the art sections, comics, etc to stay on the side bar, or should they have more “grouped” pages and just have a few across the top? Like the top bar up there could read something like:

Home, The Vixen, Art Sections, Comics, Other Links, Buy Artwork

Or is it just better to keep those links as they are on the side?

Also, are you guys enjoying the random stuff I post on the blog that I’ve found on the net? Or should I just use my blog strictly for MY WEBSITE based updates, like my art, contests, etc? Any other suggestions for the site? Comments please!! I am interested in what you have to say!

These people at Comic Con rock. :)

Super Heroes vs. the Westboro Baptist Church

They’ve faced down humans time and time again, but Fred Phelps and his minions from the Westboro Baptist Church were not ready for the cosplay action that awaited them today at Comic-Con. After all, who can win against a counter protest that includes robots, magical anime girls, Trekkies, Jedi and…kittens?

Unbeknownst to the dastardly fanatics of the Westboro Baptist Church, the good folks of San Diego’s Comic-Con were prepared for their arrival with their own special brand of superhuman counter protesting chanting “WHAT DO WE WANT” “GAY SEX” “WHEN DO WE WANT IT” “NOW!” while brandishing ironic (and some sincere) signs. Simply stated: The eclectic assembly of nerdom’s finest stood and delivered.

As you can see below, the fantastic fanboys delivered the the church a humorous dose of sweet fan justice. ComicsAlliance was there to witness the spectacle in full, which you can indulge in yourself after the jump.

Kulula Airlines is one such company with an awesome sense of humor. They’ve redesigned some of their planes, such as “Planes 101″, the “Camo Plane” and my personal favorite “This Way Up”. Check them out at the link!

I’ve been experimenting with using clear beads to make the outer edges of beads sprites more square, by then cutting the clear beads off after the ironing, and I think it’s turning out rather well. Tried with scissors for awhile until I shredded the flesh off my knuckle from the scissor handle. So I used an exacto blade, and it worked much better… as long as I missed my fingers lol.

Not that I would ever want to be a "mom". I would consider adopting a preteen though. Older kids need safe homes, and are generally passed over in adoption agencies because people want babies (just like animal shelters, people want the adorable babies instead of the older animals). I wouldn’t call it being a "mom" so much as being a caregiver.

Saw this sprite on glitter graphics and had to make it. So cute!

Trying Serena’s idea of using clear beads and cutting them away. Started with very simple sprites, and I think it looks good.

2 Jowee’s, one made normally, the other with clear sprites cut away. Does it make a lot of difference?

Lady Ice is a stunning Disney-esque cartoon about a woman who turns to ice anything she touches. This cartoon was animated by ONE person. Just one! And one person for the soundtrack. Absolutely amazing, and worth the watch.

Not a funny article, rather a very informative one. I honestly didn’t know some of this, and it’s very good TO know.
